Hello – members, friends and cronies. It’s indeed a pleasure for me to stand before you as the President of the Robert Burns World Federation.

To wish all our Clubs and Members well, at this time of year which we know is very busy as we all celebrate the birth of our great Bard – Robert Burns. We wish you success with your Burns Suppers held not only here in Scotland but world-wide where we know many, many people will celebrate his life and works.

The Directors and the Executive thank you for your continued support of our Federation but we also remind you that it is your Federation and while we try to do our best in carrying forward its legacy, we are open to suggestions and indeed look for the support from you in how we can improve it and by doing so, continue the good work of our predecessors who have done well in forwarding the works and the legacy of the greatest Scot who has ever lived – our hero, Robert Burns.
