Mission of Robert Burns World Federation to advance public knowledge and education, about the life, poetry and works of Robert Burns.

Objectives ~

Throughout the world and without distinction of race, politics, religious opinion or sexual orientation, the Federation will :

  • Encourage and arrange competitions among the public, students and school children
  • Stimulate and develop the study and teaching of : Scottish literature, art, music and language
  • Conserve buildings and places associated with Robert Burns and his contemporaries
  • Strengthen the bond of fellowship among members of Burns Clubs and Kindred Societies, by encouraging them to honour the memory of Robert Burns and his works


Who can Join ~

Join as an Individual, Family, a Club, Society, or Associated body. (All applications are reviewed by the Board of Directors)

Gift Aid Declaration ~

How to make your RBWF fees and donations worth more to us. For every pound you give we get an extra 25 pence from HM Revenue and Customs, if you are a UK Tax Payer. Even better we can back date this 4 years on all your past fees and donations. To qualify for Gift Aid, what you pay in Income Tax must at least equal the amount we will claim in the tax year.

If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code.
