Once again we have had a wonderful conference weekend. This years conference was held in Glasgow in the Hallmark Hotel from the 6-8th September. There was much fun on the Friday with a local bus tour which included a tour of Wellpark Brewery, which went down a treat, and a seminar from Marc Sherland. A delicious dinner was had in the company of our Honored Guest, Lord Provost Eva Bolander in the stunning Glasgow City Chambers on the Friday evening. Entertainment followed from Alastair McDonald and Len Murray performing 'The White Cockade' and then it was back to the hotel for another busy day on the Saturday. It was down to business for the AGM on the Saturday followed by another bus tour and seminars from Katherine Campbell and Prof Gerry Carruthers. On Saturday evening we had our annual Installation Dinner and welcomed our New President Brian Goldie. After dinner there was Ceilidh entertainment from Reel Stramash till late. Our Sunday morning events included a service at Glasgow Cathedral followed by a Wreath Laying at Burns' Statue in George Square. We very much hope all our weekend delegates and dinner guests had a very good time and we look forward to next year already.
