Seasons greetings to all our Members world-wide.  Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Peaceful and Happy New Year.

What a busy year it has been in the Federation office.  May I take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support throughout the year.  We have a dedicated and hard-working Board and Executive whose members work tirelessly to promote the Aims and Objectives of the Federation -  to promote Robert Burns, his life and works.

We've had a change of staff with Corinne moving to Auchterarder.  Margaretann Dougall has taken over the reigns and is doing a sterling job.

The RBWF website is progressing, many thanks to our IT 'guru' Linda Graham of Infotology who has been a huge help as we learn how to update and process various aspects of a WordPress site.  The web shop is also working well and we continue to add new products from local artists and suppliers.

Our first 'Homecoming' event is organised and we look forward to welcoming everyone to the RBWF Inaugural Red Rose Ball on 14th February at The Park Hotel Kilmarnock.  There's a great line-up of entertainment and this is sure to be an extremely enjoyable get-together.  Full details are on the RBWF website events calendar.

There are several projects ongoing including an e-Book of Burns poems and digitisation of the full back-catalogue of Burns Chronicles.

Schools have already started to apply for certificates for their in-house Burns competitions so we know these are as popular as ever.  Good luck to all pupils competing in the schools competitions.  We look forward to seeing some of the winners at the Regional Finals and then the National Schools Festivals.

Here's to a successful Burns season - hope you are planning to attend a Burns Suppers or two.  No doubt we will hear how several of them went - remember to send us an article and photo for the Newsletter.

Looking forward to another busy year ahead.

Best wishes from us both at RBWF HQ.
