This tartan was commissioned by the Robert Burns WorldFederation. A tartan that represents peace, global brotherhood and sisterhood. Taking its inspiration from the world famous Burns poem 'A Man's A Man', this tartan was designed to represent global peace and inclusivity, as Burns said "shall brothers be for a' that". Combining both the Ukraine and St Petersburg tartans, the colours chosen were decided to best represent the words and sentiments of the poem and were voted for by the members of the Robert Burns World Federation (RBWF) with special thanks to Sir Boyd Tunnock.
